Rehearsals are well underway for the choir’s Christmas concert in the Church of the Holy Rude on Sunday 13th December at 7.30pm. The performance will feature Poulenc’s Gloria, a challenging rousing chorus with a soprano solo and organ. The 15th century carol Welcome Yule by Parry and an arrangement of See, Unto us a Child is born by our accompanist Ian Boulter plus a selection of Christmas Carols make for an entertaining evening. Tickets are on sale now on the Choir website priced at £16 for adults and £1 for children under 12.
